Champ's Champs

Our Mission

Champ's Champs primary goal is to increase the graduation rate of service dogs (from 60% to 95%) by providing free puppy training services to volunteer/host families who raise dogs, from 12 weeks old until about 1.5 years old, for Pilot Dogs (guide dogs for the seeing impaired) and Canine Companions of Independence (assist dogs for those who are physically impaired).

These amazing host families voluntarily take on the task of raising a dog during the most crucial developmental period of its life and combined with the added stress of prepping them to become a service dog.

Your donation to Champ’s Champs will help provide free dog psychology and behavior training to these host families to ensure that they start on a positive path of success.
